WHAT ARE PERFUME NOTES?

Perfume notes are basically different fragrant layers that are divided into three different elements: top, middle and bottom notes. Top notes are introductory notes. These are light molecules and represent the first impression. Top notes are the first thing you will feel when you try a scent. Middle or heart notes as the name suggests, lie in the heart of the fragrance and form the basis of every fragrance. Heart notes begin to appear just before the top notes fade and will strongly affect the bottom base notes. Heart notes should not be taken lightly. Finally, the base notes will begin to shine after the top notes have completely evaporated. However, base notes also blend with heart notes to deepen the complexity of the scent. Where the top notes leave an initial impression, the bottom notes will create a final, lasting impression. Base notes are often rich and longest lasting.
